Overview

What NETRA does NETRA’s work runs through five connected activities. Together they turn isolated breakthroughs into deployedtechnology. Convene — the Earth Day Global Energy Transition Summit, webinars and technology tours that bring the field together. Councils — nine industry councils where members work through specific problems; 28+ meetings documented to date. Policy & Standards — submissions and government engagement that turn industry consensus into regulatory clarity. Capacity Building — masterclasses and knowledge resources for a sector scaling fast. Partnerships — associations, councils and institutions across five geographies.

POLICY & GOVERNMENT ENGAGEMENT

Policy & Government Engagement NETRA channels its members’ technical expertise into the policy process. Through its councils, the association prepares submissions on the regulations and standards that decide whether a technology can be deployed, and engages directly with government bodies on the rules shaping the transition. The aim is practical: fragmented industry input produces policy paralysis; a coordinated industry voice produces clarity.

CAPACITY BUILDING

Capacity Building A sector scaling this fast needs people who can build it. NETRA runs practitioner-led masterclasses and shares knowledge resources across its council themes. Our battery energy storage masterclass brought working practitioners together on the economics and engineering of storage deployment — a model we are extending across advanced batteries, grids, manufacturing, finance and policy.
