Meeting Summary

India has seen 90+ GWh of BESS bids in the past twelve months. Prices are at record lows. The opportunity is generational. But here is the inconvenient truth every serious player already knows:
𝙏𝙤𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙗𝙞𝙙𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙖 𝘽𝙀𝙎𝙎 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙮.

BESS is unforgiving. Gaps in BMS specification, fire suppression, EPC scope, or grid coordination are not recoverable the way a delayed solar delivery might be. A cluster of high-profile failures would not just hurt individual developers — it would set back India’s grid decarbonization agenda by 3–5 years.
