Key Discussion Points-

The session will address the following critical topics under the proposed ACC Battery Component Manufacturing Scheme:

• Domestic Value Addition (DVA): Component-wise DVA requirements versus the minimum DVA threshold for eligibility
• Subsidy Structure: Capital expenditure (Capex) subsidy versus subsidy on sale
• Fiscal Policy Rationalization: Aligning fiscal policies and duty structures to support indigenous component manufacturing
• National Infrastructure Needs: Establishing testing, certification, and qualification infrastructure at the national level

Based on the current proposed framework, Let’s discuss on the above points and share our inputs with ministry.
