Maharashtra has long been a leader in building robust energy infrastructure and is widely recognised for its forward-looking policy approach. With over 31 GW of renewable energy capacity already installed, the state has once again set the bar high by unveiling one of the most ambitious clean energy pathways in the country—firmly integrating renewable energy with storage.
While the vision is bold and directionally very strong, it has also sparked a number of important questions across stakeholders—ranging from regulatory clarity and commercial viability to implementation readiness on the ground. As with any transformative policy, the journey from ambition to execution will require deeper dialogue, alignment, and collaboration.
In this context, #NETRA is organizing a virtual roundtable that brings together a diverse group of stakeholders. The idea is to bring multiple perspectives to the table—policy, grid operations, industry, and market realities. This roundtable may not provide answers to all the questions, but it is a sincere attempt to unpack the policy, explore emerging opportunities, understand implementation challenges, and collectively reflect on how the industry can come together to deliver on Maharashtra’s ambitious targets.
