#NETRA hosted a Clean Industry Transition Council discussion on “Decoding Sustainability”, focused on corporate sustainability initiatives and emission reductions —from strategy and operations to reporting and technology.
The session connected the dots across the sustainability value chain:
Abhishek Gupta (AVP & Group Head – Corporate Environment & Sustainability, Epsilon Carbon Pvt. Ltd.) shared how sustainability is being embedded into core business strategy—covering energy and raw-material circularity, operational resilience, and competitiveness in a hard-to-abate industrial sector. Epsilon Carbon Pvt. Ltd. and Epsilon Advanced Materials Pvt. Ltd. are setting a strong benchmark for sustainable industrial growth through circularity-led operations and strategic climate action.
Indrajit Shaw (India Sustainability & ESG Lead, CBRE India) highlighted how corporates are translating commitments into execution and how CBRE is helping in end-to-end solutions—including LEED, IGBC & other global certifications, ESG reporting, advisory, and capability-building.
Swati Jain (Partner & Advisor, Ekobon) provided a big picture on the sustainability and emissions reporting landscape, covering GHG and carbon accounting standards, ESG frameworks, ratings, disclosure platforms, and evolving regulatory and compliance requirements.
Dr. Manoj Kumar Singh (Founder & CEO, NET ZERO THINK) closed the loop by addressing industrial heat—why it matters for decarbonisation, how smart thermal technologies can help, and why R&D in high-temperature electrification and storage is critical.
The session was moderated by Netra Walawalkar, ensuring a structured, engaging exchange across diverse stakeholders viewpoints into meaningful dialogue.
The discussion reinforced a clear message: credible sustainability action requires alignment across operations, reporting, technology, and strategy.
